This gallery contains a selection of original paintings, prints, and books from our family collection.
Brownie was always drawing and painting and her four children became the subject of many of her personal artworks.
– Charles, the oldest, often appears pensive with straight blond hair.
– Tim, mischievous and with a head of curls, inspired the Tinka character from her books.
– Chele, short for Michele, was the only girl and inspired the character Shelly in the Tinka books. She had brown eyes but Brownie nearly always painted them blue!
– Beau, the youngest, never sat still but was frequently captured in ‘cheeky mode’!
